The North Royalton City Schools Board of Education has placed a Bond Issue on the May 2, 2017 ballot. The problems with our elementary and high school buildings are impacting our students’ education on a daily basis. From unbearable classroom temperatures to a lack of technology to flooding from leaky roofs, our students often find themselves in conditions that are not conducive to learning.
Since 2012, our school district staff and community have been engaged in a frank and open discussion about what should be done to address this serious problem. The proposed solution is a plan to address all of our district's current and future educational needs.
Education has changed since many of us went to school. Our schools need to change, too! We know this plan to bring North Royalton School District’s educational capabilities up to standards has been well thought through, is comprehensive and meets the long-term needs of our students and community.
We have a great deal to be proud of in the North Royalton Schools, starting with outstanding financial management that has worked to extend the life of existing levies to save our taxpayers dollars. The educational needs of our children must be placed at the forefront and this comprehensive plan will allow for current and future students to collaborate, communicate, be involved in critical thinking and creative learning activities. Also, having one elementary school replace three aging buildings will also save the taxpayers money.
We hope to use this site to provide information about the bond issue to all members of the North Royalton and Broadview Heights communities. Additionally, we will be sharing information about how to join us in spreading the word and getting out the vote.
We invite you to join us in our effort to inform North Royalton Schools’ voters about the bond issue request and to secure a victory in May. Passage of this bond issue will enable our schools to continue on their path of positive momentum well into the future.
Remember - Please VOTE FOR North Royalton Schools on May 2, 2017!
